Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the RapidSort mobile game (“RapidSort,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) on Android and iOS, and to this privacy-policy webpage.

RapidSort has no account system of its own and does not ask you to enter your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment-card details. If you choose an Android feature that uses Google Play, Google may process account, profile, purchase, and technical information as described below.

2. Information used by RapidSort

The information involved depends on your platform and the features you choose to use.

Local storage, cloud saves, and backups

Progress and settings are stored using the operating system’s app storage. RapidSort does not operate its own saved-game server. On Android, RapidSort does not read or write a Play Games saved game until you explicitly choose Back up with Play Games. After that choice, RapidSort sends a versioned saved-game snapshot to Google Play Games so progress can be restored and reconciled across Android devices. Choosing device-only storage leaves this feature off. Your device or platform account may also include app data in system backups according to your Android, Google, iOS, or iCloud backup settings.

Information we do not request

RapidSort does not request access to precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, health information, or your full payment-card details. Android purchases are handled by Google Play. RapidSort has no chat or public leaderboard and does not create a separate RapidSort account. RapidSort does not receive the name or email address attached to your Google account. Android cloud saves use the player’s existing Play Games profile only after the player enables backup.

3. Analytics and diagnostics on Android

The Android version uses Google Analytics for Firebase. RapidSort sends fixed gameplay events such as level starts, wins, restarts, move counts, completion times, booster use, specimen unlocks, and changes to gameplay settings. These custom events contain no names, email addresses, free-text messages, or precise location.

Firebase may also automatically process technical information, generated events, device characteristics, and an identifier for the particular app installation. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy documentation.

You can stop Firebase Analytics collection at any time by opening Settings → Share anonymous usage and turning it off. This disables SDK-generated Analytics collection and RapidSort’s custom gameplay events. Events skipped while it is off are not queued for later.

The Android version also uses Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes, or when RapidSort records a non-fatal data-recovery problem, Crashlytics may process stack traces, relevant app state, device metadata, an installation identifier, and diagnostic logs. Crash reporting is used for app stability and is not controlled by the gameplay-analytics toggle.

The current iOS version does not include Firebase Analytics. Its diagnostic gameplay messages remain in the device’s local system log.

4. Advertising on Android

The Android version uses Google Mobile Ads. Rewarded ads appear only after you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. RapidSort may also show a paced interstitial between completed Classic levels, never over an active puzzle or a reward ceremony. Interstitials are suppressed during the introductory levels and for Remove Ads or active Club members. RapidSort does not show banner ads.

Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share an IP address, product interactions, diagnostic information, the Android advertising ID, app-set ID, and other device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate general location. Data transmitted by the SDK is encrypted in transit.

Where legally required, RapidSort asks Google’s User Messaging Platform for your advertising privacy choices before requesting ads. The ads Google serves and the information used for them can depend on your consent, region, device settings, and Google advertising settings.

The current iOS version does not include Google Mobile Ads and does not display rewarded or interstitial ads.

5. How information is used and shared

Information is used to:

• operate the game, remember progress and preferences, and, after opt-in, synchronize an Android saved game through Play Games;
• understand which modes and levels are used or unusually difficult;
• deliver rewards after a requested advertisement and pace interstitial ads;
• measure ad delivery and protect against invalid traffic or fraud;
• complete purchases, restore entitlements, and manage subscriptions;
• maintain security, diagnose problems, and comply with legal duties.

RapidSort does not sell personal or sensitive user data. Google processes analytics, diagnostics, advertising, Play Games, and purchase information under the applicable Google terms. Depending on your settings and applicable law, Google Mobile Ads may use advertising information under Google’s own privacy terms. RapidSort does not use information obtained from Play Games for advertising.

Information may also be disclosed if reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce legal rights, investigate abuse, or protect users and the public.

6. Retention and security

Local progress remains on your device until you clear RapidSort’s app data or uninstall the app, subject to any operating-system backups. An Android Play Games snapshot remains associated with the Play Games profile until it is replaced or deleted through Google’s Play Games data controls. Purchase records remain with Google Play according to your Google account and Play settings so owned products can be restored. Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems. Google Analytics user- and event-level information is retained according to the active retention setting for RapidSort’s Analytics property; RapidSort does not export that information to its own server. Other information processed by Google is retained according to the applicable service configuration, Google account controls, and Google’s retention rules.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small mobile game. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK encrypts transmitted data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Your privacy choices

• Gameplay analytics: turn off Share anonymous usage in RapidSort’s Settings.
• Rewarded ads: do not select a watch-ad offer. The game remains playable without accepting an optional rewarded ad.
• Interstitial ads: these may appear between completed Classic levels. The Remove Ads product and active Club membership disable them; Android’s advertising controls and the in-app privacy-options form control eligible ad personalization.
• Advertising controls: use Android’s advertising-privacy settings and Google My Ad Center.
• Notifications: disable the Daily reminder in RapidSort or revoke notification permission in system settings.
• Local data: clear the app’s storage or uninstall RapidSort to remove local progress, subject to platform backups.
• Play Games backup: choose device-only storage when the one-time invitation appears, or turn backup on or off later in RapidSort’s Settings. Turning it off stops future synchronization but does not delete a snapshot that was already stored.
• Play Games cloud data: use Google’s Play Games profile and game-data controls to manage or delete the saved-game data associated with RapidSort.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator. Because RapidSort has no account and does not collect your contact details, we may be unable to identify analytics, ad, or Play Games records as belonging to you without additional information from the relevant provider.

Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Google describes its international-transfer safeguards in its privacy documentation.

9. Children’s privacy

RapidSort is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not ask players to create an account or provide their name, email address, age, or other contact information. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.

Parents or guardians who believe information about a child has been processed inappropriately should contact us using the method below. We will review the request and take appropriate action consistent with applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when RapidSort’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app or its official store listing when appropriate.
